Restore Deleted Files

Well I'm sure we have all deleted something then regreted it... Fo' example, I just deleted a ton (a few GB's worth) of pics thinking I had copied them onto my other computer... I later discovered I hadn't.

I found a program called "FreeUndelete" and it restored them all.

Basically it says, your hard drive never actually deletes files but instead overwrites them with other files. So aslong as you don't leave it to long, your files are retrieveable.

Very handy to have.

FBI can recover files that have been over written 4 times. Lol

Note to self: If ever hiding stuff from the FBI... overwrite the files 5 times.
